Incidence and mortality risks for circulatory diseases in US radiologic technologists who worked with fluoroscopically guided interventional procedures, 1994-2008 (2016)
Among U.S. radiologic technologists who ever (compared to never) performed fluoroscopically-guided procedures (FGIP), a significant 34% excess risk for stroke incidence and a non-significant 22% excess risk for stroke mortality were observed; performing FGIP was not associated with mortality from all causes, all circulatory diseases, all heart diseases, ischaemic heart disease, acute myocardial infarction or hypertension.
